Leonard Special Tournament Fly Rod 8'6" 3/2 #6/7A nice Leonard Special Tournament fly rod, 8'6", 3 piece, 2 tips, built for a #6 or #7 line. The rod has not been fished since it was refinished by Leonard rodmaker Ted Simroe. The ferrule fits are good and the rod is nice and straight. The rod has a spliced joint running under the agate stripping guide on the butt section. The rod is wrapped red with a black band at the keeper, male ferrules, and tip tops. This reel has never been lined or mounted on a rod

The grip is soiled and has obviously been cleaned in the past but is very solid

The rod tube is brushed aluminum with a brass bottom

The frame diameter is 4 3/4" with a spool diameter of 4 1/2" and spool width of ~ 1"

The one issue being that the left hinge is missing one ball joint
