DOMANI WP Lead and Co-lead Coordination Meeting Held Online

The DOMANI consortium held an online coordination meeting for Work Package (WP) leaders and co-leaders on 6 December 2024. The meeting was chaired by Kristina Marran, Project Coordinator from the Estonian University of Life Sciences (EMU), and focused on aligning tasks, timelines, and responsibilities across key work packages during the early implementation phase of the project.

Meeting Overview

The meeting reviewed progress on project management, surveys and mapping activities, website development, branding, dissemination, and planning of upcoming training and stakeholder events.

  • Participants: 10 – WP leaders and representatives from EMU, CSI, KKNU, NUM, and Ukrainian partner institutions
  • Work Packages covered:
    • WP1 – Project Management and Quality Assurance
    • WP2 – Preparation and Development of Activities
    • WP6 – Sustainability

Objectives

The main objectives of the meeting were to:

  • Review tasks and deliverables for WP1, WP2, and WP6
  • Coordinate survey and mapping activities related to micro-credential development
  • Agree on a functional and sustainable website structure and branding approach
  • Discuss training activities, dissemination strategies, and stakeholder engagement
  • Plan upcoming face-to-face meetings, workshops, and summer school activities

Decisions Made

The consortium agreed on the following key decisions:

  • The consortium agreement will be finalised and distributed by early January 2025
  • A simple and easily maintainable website design was selected (TemplateMonster 66035)
  • Surveys targeting academic staff and students will be developed and circulated among partner institutions
  • A national summer school focusing on micro-credentials will be organised in Mongolia in August, with both in-person and online participation options
  • Dissemination will continue through newsletters, social media, and project website updates

Next Steps

  • Finalise and distribute the consortium agreement
  • Develop and launch surveys and mapping tools
  • Complete quality management guidelines following a January workshop
  • Launch the project website and templates by the end of January
  • Continue preparation of training sessions and stakeholder engagement activities
