Training events

As part of the DOMANI project’s capacity-building activities, an online training session was held for Ukrainian partners on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, to introduce the hackathon methodology as a tool for challenge-based learning. 

Students from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv participated in the Fresh AIR 2026. 

DOMANI Online training for authors of microcredit programs from Ukraine was held on 29 January 2026 in Zoom format. 

First training was explained differences between Mongolian and EU standards on syllabus content, what teachers should consider when develop syllabus, etc., And, working plan to develop online MC courses has been set.

In line with the European approach to micro-credentials, SAEB and MULS successfully organised a comprehensive training programme to strengthen the capacity of academic and administrative staff to design, develop, and pilot micro-credential (MC) courses at the university level.

The DOMANI consortium organised an international training session and consultation on the management and provision of microcredentials from 27 to 29 October 2025 in Tallinn, Estonia.

Between August 11 and 13, 2025, the DOMANI project consortium convened at Central European University in Budapest for an intensive three-day writeshop dedicated to developing and refining the DOMANI Competency Framework.

The DOMANI project successfully organised the “Settled Nomadism–2025” Summer School Programme and National Urban Hackathon for Green Transition in Mongolia in June 2025, bringing together students, academic staff, experts, and international partners for two weeks of intensive learning, fieldwork, and challenge-based innovation.

DOMANI partners participated in a two-day online training and consultation session focusing on ICT systems, digital certification, quality assurance, and European frameworks for implementing micro-credentials (microdegrees).

The National University of Mongolia (NUM) organised an online training session on syllabus preparation on 19 March 2025, focusing on aligning syllabus content with both Mongolian requirements and European Union standards.

During the second day (2025.01.30) of DOMANI partners management meeting, Marek Metslaid, the director of the Institute of Forestry and Engineering at the Estonian University of Life Sciences, presented an overview of the forestry characteristics in Estonia. 

The DOMANI consortium organised an international training event titled “Developing Micro-degree Ecosystems in Ukraine and Mongolia” on 29 January 2025 at the Estonian University of Life Sciences (EMU) in Tartu, Estonia.
