2019 Cesca Armless Side Chair, 51C by Marcel Breuer for Knoll in Chrome with Blue / Grey Fabric 3x AvailableThis is an armless Cesca side chair, model 51C, originally designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928. The listed price includes one 51C chair, and we have seven available for individual purchase. These examples were manufactured by Knoll in 2019. The design features a tubular chromed steel cantilever base, and has a molded plywood seat and back. Their upholstery is currently done in a contrasting blue and black combination. Each chair measures 23. 5 inches
This included designs by Platner and Bodil Kjaer
After months of searching
The shade diameter is 22 inches and is made from acrylic
manufactured in High Point
It is signed by Richard Schultz underneath as shown
Condition overall is terrific with some wear and patina from use over the years
The production date can be identified via the detailing on the frame and patina of the finish
This is a lovely example of the Breuer chaise
