The DOMANI consortium held an online Steering Committee meeting on 19 May 2025 to review the implementation of project activities, assess completed deliverables, and coordinate the next phases of work. The meeting was chaired by Kristina Marran, Project Coordinator from the Estonian University of Life Sciences (EMU), and brought together representatives of partner universities, quality assurance agencies, and national stakeholders from Estonia, Ukraine, Mongolia, Hungary, and Italy.

Objectives
The main objectives of the meeting were to:
- Review completed WP2 deliverables, including the Terms of Reference (ToRs) document
- Discuss key challenges and findings in Ukraine and Mongolia
- Coordinate next steps for micro-credential and mentorship guideline development
- Discuss options for a DOMANI competence framework
- Align timelines for upcoming trainings, summer schools, hackathons, and meetings
- Clarify responsibilities for the next implementation phase
Key Outcomes
- The ToRs document compiling mapping results and country analyses was presented and confirmed as completed
- Country findings highlighted:
- Ukraine: strong interest in micro-credentials but limited legal and regulatory frameworks
- Mongolia: lower awareness and engagement, with key barriers related to infrastructure and regulation
- Agreement to focus on national guidelines, employer–university cooperation, and pilot activities to raise awareness
- Confirmation that all institutions will document and upload micro-credential courses into a shared tracking table for integration into the online learning platform
Decisions Made
The Steering Committee agreed on the following decisions:
- The ToRs document was formally accepted as completed
- Two key guideline documents will be developed under WP3:
- Micro-credential Provision Guidelines (government-level focus)
- Institutional Mentorship Programme Guidelines
- Mentorship programmes must be documented at institutional level and finalised by 26 August 2025
- A DOMANI-specific competence framework was favoured, with final agreement to be reached before the August training in Budapest
- Partners will review existing EU competence frameworks and provide feedback by 31 May 2025

- Institutions to upload micro-credential course data (titles, syllabi, resources) to the shared platform
- Development of mentorship guidelines and nomination of institutional mentors
- Preparation of draft competence framework (June–July 2025)
- Continued planning of training events, summer schools, and stakeholder engagement activities
