Colson, Bob -- 8'10" 3/2 7wt Bamboo RodFor sale here is a bamboo rod built by Bob Colson that was part of the 2013 Catskills Rodmakers Gathering casting competition. 8 feet 10 inches, 3 2 for a 7 weight line. Complete with original bag and tube. Very strong fast action rod suited for strong fish and big flies, able to overcome strong winds! Weighs 4 3 4 oz. Size 11 64 and 17 64 ferrules with a great ferrule fit. Mr. Colson kindly donated this rod to the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and

Spigot ferrules with a 1/4" gap to allow for wear over time

The step ferrules have been oxidized to the correct "pewter" color these rods were known for

The mortised burl wood spacer is highly figured and quite handsome

The ferrules are 11/64 and 18/64 and the ferrule fit is Baginski-tight

The rod features a sanded brick colored fiberglass blank with bronze wraps and gold tipping
