HL Leonard Model 38DF-4 Bamboo Rod 7' 2/2 #4For sale here is a Maxwell era Leonard Model 38DF 4 bamboo rod. 7' 2 2 for a 4 weight line. The rod weighs 3 1 4 oz. and remains in excellent condition with original bag and tube. All sections are full length and straight. German silver cap and ring reel seat. Clear silk wraps with tan and maroon accents at the ferrules and tip tops. The ferrules are 12 64 and the ferrule fit is excellent.
Guide at top of butt is smaller than any on the mid section
The action is parabolic and on the fast side of medium-fast
the Delaware system

The midsection has a minor break/fracture just below the female ferrule
Transparent honey wraps with oxblood tipping
