Century hand coloured etching depicting Gaetano Berenstadt (1687 1734) as Flavio, Francesca Cuzzoni as Emilia and Francesco Bernardi (called Senesino 1686 1758) as Guido in Act III, Scene 4 of Flavio, Re De Longobardi by George Frederic Handel. First performed on 14th February 1723 at the Kings Theatre, Haymarket. Anonymous artist formerly attributed to both John Vanderbank and William Hogarth. 26. 5 by 19 cms. Pl. 28. 5 by 21 cms. Sheet.
