Hardy Bros. Hollokona Hollolight Bamboo Rod 8' 3/2 5wtFor sale here is a good clean example of Hardy's "hollow built" split cane trout rod the Hollokona Hollolight. Both rod and bag are completely original and in good order. Tyings of gold silk with black tips. Gold anodised sliding ring and 'W' fitting and alloy stoppers. Number H32804 giving a date of 1960. Hardy's catalogue refers to this rod as a 5 weight.

Impregnated with chrome guides and brown wraps

500 of these reels were made in the late 90's
The taper is a Dickerson 8013
Varnished light colored cane with 3 up node pattern
Chestnut silks tipped with gold and gold and purple tipping at the winding check and male ferrules
The rod can be felt flexing in the grip though I wouldn't call it overly parabolic
Comes with original tube and bag
