The reel has been carved engraved with a foliate style pattern on both ebonite side plates. Size 4 0 3 7 8" diameter. This reel carries the 1902 patent on the sliding oil cap. German silver safety bands and pair of roller bars. The reel has a strong adjustable drag and click. This reel has the seven detent arrowhead pointer drag
Very little spool/spindle movement -- I would rate it 8
