Per Brandin Model 764-2 P 7'6" 2/2 #4For sale here is a Per Brandin solid built quadrate rod made in 1992. Model 764 2 P, which is based on the Paul Young Perfectionist taper. Although the model number designates a four weight line, Per actually prefers it with a five weight line. The rod weighs 3 oz. Beautifully flamed medium dark cane. Perfect varnish job as always. Very serviceable varnish

the serial number is written on the cork spacer and on the tips there are four "hash marks" and no serial number as is common

The unmarked reel foot is full length and unaltered

Grip is a western style 12 corks (6")

The prior owner "antiqued" the winding plate finish and I consider it a very well done job

The ivorine handle spins freely on its post

A fly line sticker would hide this well

Original and un-filed smooth alloy foot

The rod tube is packed in a plastic sleeve with a Ron Kusse "Best quality rods" medallion attached

The rod was custom ordered and then gifted in 1985 and so marked on the rod along with the owner's name
