Hardy Brass Face Perfect 3 3/4" Fly ReelFor sale here is a fine and scarce brass face Hardy Perfect wide drum fly reel 3 3 4" diameter with 1896 check. Excellent+ condition. Full length original foot. Ivory handle spins freely. Stamped "3" throughout. Nice tight reel mechanically. No cosmetic issues to speak of. The reel appears to be 100% original. Cleaned and put back on the shelf. These 100+ year old reels are wildly coveted throughout the world as the "Perfect" reel to bring salmon,
Ferrules are wrapped over in Gary's usual fashion
The cigar grip measures 6 3/8" in length

The reel is in excellent used condition though it does show some wear from honest fishing

There is also a small plastic bag with a spring and some extra internal parts
The cork grip has been cleaned and shows some ridging
