The aging was quite respectful of the wine

intense and overtly mineral-driven flavors where the supporting tannins are now mostly resolved though there is a hint of tannic edginess on the gorgeously persistent finish

A beautifully comple nose of secondary fruit

This displayed a nose that bordered on being surmature with traces of stewed fruit along with good spiciness and earth nuances

weight and mid-palate concentration that coats the palate with dry extract and enrobes the firm tannic spine to the point where it is more of a background element than usual

A spicy but restrained nose speaks of exotic tea
