Hardy Perfect 4 1/4" fly reel - MKII checkFor sale here is a 4 1 4" Hardy Perfect wide drum fly reel with MKII check from the late 1920's. The reel is in excellent condition mechanically, tight and without issue. Full length smooth brass foot may have received some very light filing at some point, but I cannot really be certain. Nicely aged ebonite handle spins freely. No line burns to worry about. Good spool spindle fit. No line guide. "FET" scratched into the bottom of the brass foot and

one creating a 7' rod and the other a 7'3" hence the name "Pace Changer"

Ferrules are size 11/64 and the fit is perfect

The dimensions are 3 1/4" diameter and 1" spool width

For sale here is a Ross San Miguel 2 fly reel in excellent condition with tiny marks to frame as shown in the photos

The rod is in mint condition having only been assembled and lawn cast

Corrosion resistant stainless steel parts and the housing

All in all a nicely preserved rod even with its issues

wraps all look very nice

8'3" for a 4 or 5 weight line

Agate line guide is crack-free
