This highly sought after brass pin caged reel has a very nice and strong fixed caliper check. Stamped D2 on the frame and foot and two punch marks on the cog. Correct original and un filed smooth brass foot, although it has a kink in it that does not prevent its proper seating in the reel seat. Original ivorine handle spins freely. The reel is in excellent overall condition

The bright nickel silver ferrules are size 17/64 with an excellent fit

with this one being especially nice and bright

but my scale has it at 5

The rod features handsome flame tempered cane with a 2 x 2 node spacing
