Chateau La Pointe Vintage 1974Life began for this estate in 1845 and it was only the second in Pomerol to call itself Chateau. Bought by the d'Arfeuille family in 1941. Sadly 1974 was not a great vintage. Typical Blend, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. 75cl Bottles. Abv% Not stated Bottle condition capsule good, label good, wine level top shoulder.
Joseph Phelps fell in love with Napa Vineyards whilst working there on a project for his Colorado construction company
Taittinger produces a vintage champagne only when the harvest has been of exceptional quality
