1988 Fender USA Deluxe American Standard Stratocaster (Fiesta Red)Made in the USA in 1988 as part of the very short lived "Deluxe American Standard" series, these Fender's were designed to be a modern upgrade on the traditional American Standard. Alder body with a vibrant Fiesta Red finish bolted to a C profile maple neck (9. 5" radius, 22 frets), it weighs 3. 7kg's. Loaded with the original Lace Sensor Gold single coils and two point American Standard bridge with some brand new Fender branded locking tuners

The finish is a reasonable job with some amateur wear

this one has been routed for a tremolo system and a middle pickup along with a 5-way blade selector switch as well as being partially refinished to hide where the extra holes were plugged

And the ash and maple construction is a tried-and-true combination that has proven itself over decades
