1990's ESP Japan 320RJ Custom Order Mirage HH Superstrat (Ferrari Red)

1990's ESP Japan 320RJ Custom Order Mirage HH Superstrat (Ferrari Red)Seemingly a custom order one off build by ESP in the 1990's, this "ESP320RJ" is a HH style Stratocaster with a Mirage body and a modern Stratocaster style neck. Solid alder construction with a medium V profile maple neck (42mm nut width, 648mm scale length), it weighs 4. 2kg's. Loaded with a pair of vintage Dimarzio humbuckers controlled by a master volume control and three way mini pickup selector along with the original Floyd Rose tremolo system.

The middle pickup route is an amateur attempt but does the job

these wear a blackout finish with gold hardware and mirror-gold pickguard and are loaded with a pair of "Dry 1982" humbuckers (although the bridge pickup on this one was replaced with a vintage Gotoh humbucker)

The sounds are comparable to Roland's CR-series of rhythm machines as well as some of Roland's cheaper TR-machines (like the TR-505

and VelveTune tuning machines

Full Gibson style aesthetic with an open book headstock and crown inlay plus block inlays on the fretboard

This one dates to 1987 and is built with a basswood body bolted to a maple neck that's fully scalloped from the 12th fret onwards

This one seems to be all original except for a new output jack and received a full professional setup and service prior to listing
