Think Tank Sessions on Mentoring microcredit programs of the DOMANI project

On October 17-23, 2025, a series of a working group and stakeholders meetings of the Erasmus+ program on the DOMANI project were held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ecology, Green Energy and Sustainable Development of Karazin University with the aim of developing and implementing mentoring programs for microcredit programs created within the framework of the project. Given the security situation in Kharkiv, the events were held in an online format. The series of meetings was curated by the DOMANI project manager at Karazin University, head of the Department of Environmental Monitoring and Conservation Affairs, Prof. Nadiya Maksymenko.

In total, 25 specialists participated in the meetings, including the authors of microcredit courses developed within the framework of the DOMANI project at Karazin University, scientific and pedagogical workers, representatives of business, public organizations, civil servants, as well as about 30 postgraduate students and students who showed interest in the topic. Before the start of discussions on mentoring with stakeholders, Prof. Maksymenko N.V. and members of the working group held consultations on the content and communication with potential stakeholders in order to collect the opinions of interested parties on the optimal structure and content of mentoring programs. She focused the participants’ attention on the idea that mentoring programs should be developed and implemented in such a way as to be self-sufficient and promote the possibility of successful employment and career growth.

The ideas expressed by the participants in the meetings formed the basis for proposals for the Mentoring Program for Microcredit Programs, which will be developed within the DOMANI Project.
