The National University of Mongolia and the project “Developing Micro-Credentials Ecosystems in Ukraine and Mongolia for Competitive and Resilient Green Economies – DOMANI”, which is funded by ERASMUS+ CBHE program jointly organized an open workshop and consultation of “Current conditions, challenges, opportunities, and future development of micro-credential education in Mongolia” on May 6, 2025, from 12:30 to 18:30 in Room 502 of the Library.


The purpose of this discussion was to clarify the current situation and obstacles in the implementation of non-degree (microcredit) education in universities and colleges, to identify opportunities, and to determine issues that should be reflected in the plan, rules, and standards for its proper development. At the workshop, 11 presentations from 10 organizations, including representatives from Estonia and Hungary, who online presented their experiences in micro-credential education in the European Union. Discussion was held under two topics, namely “Current situation – challenges” and “Opportunities – Future trend”. In total, 26 people from 11 organizations participated in the discussion online and in person.
