gothic sallet metropolitan museum of artThe sallet is a replica of a Gothic sallet from 1495. The original is nowadays part of the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This original was probably worn in Germany, whilst comparable models occurred throughout Northern and Central Europe. The sallet is fitted with an iron grid in front of the visor for additional safety. The sallet is dispatched including a bevor and is available in size M (head circumference up to 61 cm).
