Strikingly, during the Renaissance this helmet was regarded as THE Roman helmet and is depicted on several paintings from that period portraying Roman stories. Constructed from 1. 5 mm thick steel and fitted with a leather inlay, the helmet is well suited to head circumferences up to 64 cm.

The cuirass may be adjusted to the correct size and is well-suited to a chest circumference of up to 120 cm
