Description
large pan with hingeThe pan is handmade from 1. 6 mm thick steel iron. It has two grips, in which the included hinge can be hooked. It has a diameter of 33. 5 cm, its height is 17 cm and it has a volume of approx. 7. 5 litres. It weighs 2. 7 kg. The pan is blackened and oiled with forging soot. It is recommended to cleanse it thoroughly with hot water or steel wool abrasive.
It was popular in 16th-century England and was utilised during the English Civil War
The shin guards may be worn over trousers or over gambeson-padded legs
