shirt francis naturalThe shirt is well suited to re enactment and LARP across a variety of periods and characters. It is well suited to the late Middle Ages and Renaissance, whilst also lending itself particularly well to use as a pirate shirt. The collar is raised and is fitted with laces with wooden ends. The sleeves are slightly puffed, tapering into a narrower form towards the cuff.

In the Middle Ages

The gauntlet is well-suited to extreme situations whilst remaining comfortable to wear

so when employed in combat it can be pulled back and re-used

being employed in large numbers across South and Central Europe

It has been designed for LARP battles and is well-suited to intensive use

whilst the grip is wrapped round with wire thread and decorated with Turkish knots

Voiders were worn during the late Middle Ages on the arms and shoulders of the gambeson

The kaftan has been designed after a Viking caftan excavated in Birka

which together with a chainmail coif was worn—either as sole protection or under a great helm

where William the Conqueror and other knights are shown wearing them
