Place of LightAbout This Image: I had wanted to depict the Salt Lake Temple in an etching style for some time. I chose that style because it expresses the scene as if it was created close to the time period of the temple's dedication. I also had the idea for a ray of light breaking through the clouds to shine on the temple. The scene would have to be in the morning for the sunray to be realistic, illuminating the east and south sides of the temple. That meant that

I named this "The Mount" to remind me to stay fixed on God's perspective
