so when I finally made it here I had high expectations

I then drove my car up and down the road so the dirt caught the sunlight and provided this image with a mystical quality that while subtle was very important to this final image

but there's also joy to be found in staying closer to home and spending time studying the light and waiting for the perfect conditions

With the forecast showing fog in the morning I set my alarm early the night before
