Payne Model 197 Bamboo Rod 7'6" 3/2 #4For sale here is a Payne Model 197 bamboo rod from the 1960's. 7'6 3 2 for a 4 weight line. The rod weighs 4 1 8 oz with the up locking reel seat over the standard spanish cedar spacer. A classic Payne rod with the "Made for Abercrombie & Fitch Co." die stamp on the up locking ring, along with the Payne die stamp. The rod is wrapped brown with gold edges. The grip is western style and has been cleaned with no ridging present. Complete with ferrule
