The cigar grip measures 5 1/2" in length with only the slightest evidence of handling

The screw nut is stamped "Payne" in the cartouche and underneath "Reg U

It also includes modern

Three up node pattern and flamed cane but this rod predates the "Tiger stripes" used on later rods
