20th century Wabi sabi ebonised naturalistic coffee tableThis is a stunning 20th century ebonised naturalistic slab coffee table. Very impressive and hugely decorative. Made from a thick single piece of live edge timber and mounted onto a trunk base. Ebonised as well making it very hard wearing. This is a perfect piece to build a room around with is Wabi Sabi nature and striking design. Height 38cm Width 132cm approx Depth 125cm

Raised on 3 front block feet which gives a great stance for the sofa

The design is a classic shape known as shield back

We have managed to get 4 late 18th early 19th century book plates and this one is of a Lion

Good depth of seat and height to the back

All my armchairs and sofas have been fully restored

The texture and colour of the oil painted fish lifts the whole piece and works perfectly with the more subtle chalk and charcoal fish
