Silkymoon - TRANQUILSILKYMOON is a luxurious lace weight yarn designed for knitters and crocheters. 72% Kid Mohair and 28% Silk Silkymoon combines the airy warmth of mohair with the smooth sheen and drape of silk. With approximately 210 metres per 25g ball, Silkymoon is ideal for lightweight shawls, scarves, wraps and sweaters. Its fine construction creates beautifully soft fabric, whether used on its own or held together with another yarn for added texture and warmth.

Suggested knitting needle size 3 – 4

This treatment ensures that these yarns can be washed on a wool cycle in the washing machine

All our yarns are made in small batches and dyed by hand

we recommend adding 2 or 3 extra balls to ensure there are no tonal variations

You will need a 7mm+ knitting needle as this yarn is a ticker than your average ball

The Linen does not take on the dye as evenly as the wool so there are various pieces that have a white look
