Lot 012 - Antique Painted Porcelain Tile Of Young Woman in White Head Scarf Posed Before Landscape with Clasped Hands, In Brass Frame With Crest, Note Large Crack, 4-7/8" x 9-1/8"Hand painted porcelain tile depicting a young woman in prayer, wearing a white hanging headscarf and brown coat, with gray eyes. Mounted in a brass frame with decorative crest at top and triangle hanger on reverse. Small loss to upper left side of frame ornamentation. The brass has been treated with black paint to create an aged appearance, with visible brushwork on the back. Note large crack running diagonally through the tile along the line of the
scattered surface marks
