This rod comes from the end of Tom Maxwell's tenure at the Leonard Rod Co. Serial number 81166. The plastic wrapping is still on the grip. All sections are full length and straight. Beautiful classic post fire Leonard Hunt model with garnet wraps and three windaways at the keeper and ferrules. Beautiful blood red agate stripping guide.

The reel was refinished (exterior finish) at Hardy's

One extra reel pouch is included as well

Comes with a floating line (#9) and backing

The butt cap shows light wear around the edge from being taken in and out of the bag

This is the standard light line rod for many anglers

Made in the mid-1970's

Modified full-wells grip 6 1/2" in length with only the slightest evidence of handling
