Description
Lot 002 - Vintage Persian Export Devil-Head Mace with Engraved Shaft and Disc Guard, 26-1/2" HVintage Persian export mace with a cast devil head finial featuring horns, open mouth, and stylized facial features. The shaft is engraved with shallow decorative patterning, and the disc guard is similarly engraved. The mace is constructed of a copper alloy with green verdigris patina visible in recessed areas. Surface oxidation and patina are present throughout, with wear to high points on the head and guard.
The badge features the all seeing eye symbol
The reverse is marked "Sterling" and is fitted with a spring-clip barrette mechanism
and an elaborate map game board
