Lot 052 - Antique French Pocket Compass with Engraved Stag on Reverse, Made in France, 2-1/4" L x 3-1/4" HAntique French pocket compass in a pocket watch style case with a suspension ring at the top. The dial is marked with cardinal and intercardinal directions using French abbreviations and features an arrow form north indicator. The dial is marked "Made in France." The reverse of the case is engraved with a stag standing in grass. The case shows oxidation and verdigris, and the glass crystal has scratching and debris beneath it.
