this is a big step up on the 2014

orange zest and brioche notes

rich and still quite vibrant medium-bodied flavors possess excellent intensity and volume before terminating in a satisfying and solidly persistent finish

This full-bodied wine is silky

smoke and scorched earth flavors

balanced and moderately austere finale

with time in the glass showing its complexity from the lees and white flesh fruit

it does not materially detract from the overall aromatic appeal

needing no more time at all

There is a really lovely sense of underlying tension suffusing the much more mineral-driven middle weight flavors that are not quite as rich but notably more precise on the chiseled and wonderfully refined finish

Full-bodied and velvety

There is fine delineation and superb energy to the muscular and intense flavors that possess terrific depth as well as knock-out persistence with only a trace of austerity though I suspect that it will become more apparent once the wine is bottled
