Description
RL Winston Fiberglass Fly Rod 7'6" 2/1 #5/6A nice RL Winston fiberglass fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 1 tip, built for a #5 or #6. This has the San Francisco "cup" decal. Brown colored spigot ferrule blank (a Kennedy Fisher blank?). Carbide stripper and chrome snake guides. Wrapped red. Used condition. 6" full wells grips with a downlocking screwlock seat. Blue cloth bag and aluminum tube with the Winston logo.
The truncated Swiss-style ferrules are size 9/64 and 15/64 with a perfect fit
It has a single pawl/spring and no ball bearings (a "eunuch" model)
Excellent condition with bag only
There are four 1/2-inch rubber feet for stability
Comes in a leather block case and the original box and paperwork
Casts a 4 wt
and capable of very accurate casts
