The spools have a vinyl washer between them for smooth operation
in Jack Young's hand
with some rust around the tube wires (I suspect this could be cleaned and wires replaced) and on one exterior of the box a previous owner has scratched "TUBES" into the surface
Made in July of 1972
-- it is only a ring holding in a bank spear with 3 holes drilled in it for lightness made of aluminum
and is a great primer which includes many of the makers and history of the craft
