Lot 046 - Vintage Green Serpentine Stone Carving Of Two Figures In Parkas, Signed N. Natchik, Pt. Hope, Alaska, Possibly Inuit Or Alaskan Native, Unconfirmed, 5" HVintage hand carved green serpentine stone sculpture depicting two warmly dressed figures wearing traditional parka style coats, standing side by side on a stone base. Signed on the front N. Natchik, Pt. Hope AK. The stone shows a dark green coloration with partial translucence under light, typical of serpentine used in Alaskan and Arctic carvings. A small carved element resembling a bone barb is taped to the reverse, apparently intended to fit into
wear and marks throughout on both photo and board
and 5-1/8" H
This flashlight is in fair condition and is heavily rusted and worn
The art nouveau style sterling lid is marked STERLING
