They come heat treated and have a black oxide coating on them to prevent wear and corrosion. These weights will act 4 6 grams heavier than what they weigh on a gram scale. The curve and profile of the weights offer a much more aggressive upshift, and quicker rpm response, they work great on high torque applications.
