Everett Garrison Model 228 Bamboo Rod 9' 1/8" 3/2For sale here is a scarce Everett Garrison Model 228 light salmon steelhead rod 9 1 8' in length with three sections and two tips. Serial number T 9. 125 1 marked on each section. Made in 1950. The rod is in excellent+ refinished condition. All sections are full length and void of any repairs. The original script was saved in the refinishing process though it is a bit smudged. The original grip measures 7" in length with mild soiling and light ridging
Some grip soiling and a chip from the varnish on the oxidization of the female ferrule
Crimson red wraps with jet black tipping
"3804 #680" is lettered 2 flats left
The wraps are brown with yellow edges
This medium action rod was one of those sold by Abercrombie and Fitch
The butt section is down 1 3/4"
Original bag and brass top tube with Leonard data sticker
The flies have never been removed from the box
Mottled flame cane
Materials are nickel silver
