Class 58 - Mainline Blue - 58046

Class 58 - Mainline Blue - 5804658046 was handed over to BR during October 1986. Nearing the end of the Class 58 build programme, it had all of the later modifications incorporated from new. It was one of the unnamed members of the class until 7th July 1991, when it was named Thoresby Colliery and outshopped in a gleaming coat of Triple Grey with Coal Sector branding. The naming ceremony took place at the High Marnham Power Station open day, not far from the colliery it was named
