Lot 068 - Antique Bryant & May's Matches Advertising Match Striker, Black Glaze with Gold Lettering, Chipped, 4-3/8" WAntique advertising match striker for Bryant & May's Matches. The piece is circular with a black glaze and gold lettering reading "Bryant & May's Matches" around the outer band. The top center features a rectangular unglazed striking surface. The underside is unglazed terracotta with concentric rings and a rectangular slot opening in the center. The black glaze shows multiple chips exposing the terracotta body beneath, concentrated around the top
The back of the frame is marked 7673
and black throughout
