Lot 052 - Antique Cast Iron Double Inkwell With Chrome Finish Depicting Fox Head, Oak Branches, And English Hunting Scene With Hunter, Dog, And Stag, Stamped L.P., Circa Early 20th CenturyAntique early 20th century cast iron double inkwell with chrome finish featuring a detailed hunting motif. Central fox head flanked by oak branches, with an English hunter, hound, and downed stag depicted in relief within the pen tray. Includes two inkwell cups with hinged metal lids and original internal glass inserts. The underside is stamped L. P.. Surface oxidation, minor plating loss, and wear consistent with age and use.
