Lot 012 - Antique Cast Iron Figural Lion Desk Seal Press for Empire Building Company, Wisconsin, on Wood Base, 7-3/4" L x 11-3/4" HAntique cast iron desk seal press in the form of a figural lion head. Made for the Empire Building Company of Wisconsin. The embossing die is present. The cast iron retains remnants of gold paint over black, with significant paint loss and surface wear throughout. The wood base is a later addition, as acquired.
