This storm was near its end in Southeastern Bavaria but decided to bless us with epic structure one final time before slowly fading out into the night

It wouldn't live for much longer

gaining enormous power and looking like a landing UFO as it ravaged through the Western Texas Panhandle

Catatumbo Storms flash away into the evening blue hour as the core of our milky way galaxy slowly appears from the darkening sky

but also multiple eddies formed along the updraft's edge

lighting up the sky in unimaginable colors as this LP Supercell reaches its peak intensity and peak photogenicity

The sun shines through the curtains of rain and hail

looking otherworldly as it's lit up by intense orange from the setting sun

cuts the darkness in half

that I personally don't think I'll see a more beautiful storm anytime soon
