Alphonsine was born November 6, 1866, died October 8, 1947, and was buried October 11, 1947. This information is written on a piece of tape on the back of the crucifix. The cross has two mounting holes that would have been used to display it at the funeral or on a memorial or casket. It shows normal wear and patina consistent with age and handling. Dimensions: 6.
