I have always loved these pieces of folk art and try and find them when I can but they are getting harder to find

They are made from pine with an almost limed appearance which makes them hugely decorative

The back of the mirror is leather covered so overall a very high quality piece

The look is hugely decorative and perfectly practical to be used

The mirror plate is totally original and has a nice amount of foxing

Clean condition and all re wired for UK use but we can wire for EU and US

The barley twist supports lift the chair beautifully and the bold geometric carved frame is a design detail I have never seen from this period
