These are a few of the stone guardians that are part of Muse de Louvre, Paris is full of these sculpted helpers. They range from saints and scholars, to gargoyles and demons. All of them amazing in my mind. This hand pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel 55981 Black, Bistre, and a dash

I feel like this helps turn the viewers eyes to the subject of my gaze

I set these tulips up in my bedroom one day when I really wanted to do some photography and my kids were at school

figuratively it did not seem like that much of a stretch

I truly love making portrait photographs

it is a play of words I find interesting and meaningful

Pointed my 8x10 camera down to the kitchen floor and had time to make one negative before daddy was needed

and Madder lake red inks on Hahnemühle copperplate paper

There are many reasons why I chose to use this lush blue ink

I look up and see this wonderful and beautiful shape hanging there in the sky

maybe a new lover with a tender heart

I printed an edition of 8 numbered prints and 3 A/P prints
