Lot 042 - Pair Of Antique English Transferware Pottery Pieces With Hudson River Sidewheel Steamship “The Hudson Lunch,” Manufactured By John Maddock & Sons Ltd.Pair of antique English transferware pottery pieces depicting a Hudson River sidewheel steamship with the caption The Hudson Lunch beneath the image. These pieces were likely produced for use in a shipboard lunch room or dining service aboard one of the Hudson River steamers. Includes an oval bowl (5 1 4" x 4" x 1 1 4") and an oval plate (7 7 8" x 5 5 8" x 7 8"), both manufactured by John Maddock & Sons Ltd. Light wear consistent with age and use.
Here is a beautifully preserved and framed delicate handkerchief from Camp Devens
but seems to be stuck in a ringing state
with some chips in the paint
