Lot 287 - Antique Marietta, Pennsylvania Cast Iron "00" Smelting Glue Pot With Liner, 4" HThis antique cast iron smelting glue pot features a bulbous body with flat rim and wire bail handle, marked "Marietta, PA" and "00" in impressed lettering on the rim. The pot includes a cylindrical cast iron liner with wire bail handle that fits inside the outer vessel. Both the outer pot and liner show rust and surface corrosion throughout consistent with age and use.
